Through interactive presentations, the programme motivates the beneficiaries to know more about business approaches, how to plan for their future career and to define and realize their potentials that would assist them to choose their career path

The Business Clinic encourages and prepares beneficiaries to become actively and constructively involved in Syrian society, and to propose as well as implement their own projects and initiatives. As part of its work with beneficiaries, SHABAB uses interactive tools, videos and vocational reference material that is available in the Business Clinic library.

 

Know About Business (KAB) is a set of training materials in entrepreneurship education developed by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

It contributes to the creation of an enterprise culture amongst young people by enhancing their knowledge of entrepreneurship and its challenges and benefits.

 

The programme is a 60 hours training (30 training hour and 30 executive experience) designed for young people between the ages of 19-29 years, includes a series of training activities to help develop their abilities and their training skills such as presentation, communication and debating skills

Initiatives

With the aim of developing young people’s skills and promoting their participation within local communities, SHABAB, in cooperation with the British Council and Volunteer Services Overseas, implements the Global Xchange programme in Syria.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in cooperation with SHABAB, launched the initiative for the first time in Syria.

An initiative launched by the British Council, in cooperation with SHABAB, it encourages young people to actively participate in the development of their local communities.

School for Exploring Enterprise and Developing Self-employability (SEEDS) is one of SHABAB’s home-grown programmes. It comprises of seventy-two hours of interactive training sessions that encourage the trainees to explore different aspects of self-employment, motivating them to adopt it as a career option.

Past Programmes

one of the first programmes implemented by SHABAB; Business Awareness is a two-day programme which aims to give 16-19 year olds an understanding of business and its crucial role in the economy, as well as developing their key skills.
