“Is there anything more beautiful than becoming the director of a company? Why not? Why not to start my own project? I’ve got all the qualifications needed; from the work experience to the funding provided by the years I spent working in the field of advertising design. SHABAB encouraged me and helped me drawing my steps in the beginning of the road. I determined to move forward and at that point I started.”

The story of Moayad Hijazi (22 years old – First year Business administration) can be a good indication that no matter how modest or small the opportunity seems to be, one can live up the ladder of success, if he is able to prove his capabilities.

The young lady Yeser Abboud never thought she had all the skills needed; the skills she will need to use and invest in a suitable job. One day, she was watching TV and there was a show about “SHABAB” one of the Syria Trust for Development’s divisions. At that moment, the student in the Faculty of Economics decided to contact “SHABAB” and she was advised to go to Business Clinics Program that provides free career consultations for young people trying to enter the business world.

Her ambition and her desire for self-improvement were always present in her mind and they pushed her to find new ways of fulfilling her desires. At first Rana Bakdsh was volunteering for an institution through teaching art but despite the connection this work had with creativity, it couldn’t satisfy her and only encouraged her desires.
